Hans Roos started his career in the healthcare industry where he held both commercial and executive positions. In various line positions, he was active in the Netherlands and in the United States.

In 1993, together with two partners, he established a consultancy practice named Roos, Veltman & Verra (RVV). As managing partner, he was at the helm of several international projects, for some of which the clients included: 3M, USCC and KPMG.

In the Netherlands, RVV focussed on the development of account management and the improvement of commercial strength. The firm worked for a large number of organizations, such as: Leaseplan, Inter Access, GTI, Eneco, Selektvracht, Geveke, Kappa, Tetterode, Brunel and VGZ.

Hans Roos himself focussed increasingly on financial services, where he worked on varied consultancy assignments. The focus of his advisory work gradually shifted from training in commercial areas to supporting senior managers to strengthen their leadership.

He completed consultancy assignments for ING Bank, Rabobank, MeesPierson, Fortis, ASR, Amev, Avero-Achmea, WestlandUtrecht, Rijnmond Verzekering, Amstgeld, Nationale Nederlanden en Deloitte.

In 2011, he ended his operations with his consultancy firm. He remains active in the supporting and consulting of (executive) teams. In 2014, he joined Jonathan Warner.
